Visit the Railway Museum
The Dorrigo Steam and Railway Museum houses the
most comprehensive railway collection of preserved
railway vehicles
in the world, ranging from 1855 to
the present.
And now, after many setbacks this
museum is about
to open to the public.
As of May 2006, there will be pre-arranged bus group
tours,
which will eventually lead to a public opening in
the not
to distant future.
The museum collection comprises of sixty-three
locomotives,
and two hundred and eighty carriages.
