Bush Walking

There are four national parks within close proximity
to Dorrigo Mountain Resort, the main one is Dorrigo
National Park. This park is comprised of 7,800 hectares
of sub-tropical rainforest. The “must” walk is the
Wonga Walk, this takes approximately two and a half
hours to complete one whole circuit.

Along the walk you will pass behind a waterfall and
take in one of the best examples of sub-tropical
rainforest on the east coast of Australia.

Other parks in the area incude:

New England National Park:

A park containing mostly dry sclerophyll
environments with little to no sub-tropical areas.

Guy Fawkes Gorge:

The sites and sounds of gorge country.

Catheral Rock National Park:

Largest remaining mass of volcanic rock from
the now extinct volcano near Ebor.
