Driving can take you to many scenic areas on the Dorrigo Plateau

Four Wheel Driving

There are many four wheel drive tracks in the area.
One of the most popular drives is the Moonpar forest
drive. Although strictly for four wheel drives, this circuit
is unsealed and can be driven with a standard vehicle.

Along the Moonpar forest drive, are various sites to
explore, such as:

Norman Jolly Grove:

A twenty minute loop walk through virgin sub-tropical
rainforest, wherein two 800 year old Tallowood trees'
can be seen.

Platypus Flats:

A great place to camp for the night with friends
and family.

Red Cedar flora reserve:

One of few areas left on the plateau with
very old cedars.

The tram line walk:

A little look at some colonial history behind the
Dorrigo Plateau.

This takes roughly two and a half hours to complete,
and is well worth the time and energy.

On arrival we will supply you with a detailed map
along with directions on how to get to these areas.
